Many of you would have read this on our Blog or FaceBook by now, but for
others who do not venture into such Internet worlds, I thought I would take
a moment to update you on a rather major, unplanned event in our lives since
Sunday night!

Mandy had her post-op appointment today. The doctor confirmed that what
happened was quite serious and potentially life threatening. We, again,
stand in awe of our good and gracious Heavenly Father who providentially
protected her and provided everything necessary for the problem to be

* We want to thank everyone for their prayer and support over the last
week. We especially want to thank all those who attended the services in PA
with Mandy – what a blessing you were; those of our church family here in

We know we have not sent out a “real” update via this email group in a few
months. We are sorry that this is the kind of update you are now receiving –
however, we covet the prayers of many at this time.

The past 36 hours have been a real storm for us here in New Zealand.

Around 5:30am on Tuesday (New Zealand time) I received an email from someone

All:
I received a phone call last night just after midnight. My Mom was calling
to let me know my grandmother (My Dad's Mom) had passed away sometime during
the night.
This was not a surprise. She has been in failing health for some time and in
grave health for the past couple of weeks.
Her funeral will be Saturday at noon in Terre Haute, IN.
