Pastor's Profile Pastor Ryan Limbaugh| Ryan became the associate pastor at Anniston Bible Church in January 2007. Before coming to ABC he was trained for pastoral and preaching ministry at The Master’s Seminary, where he received his Master of Divinity degree in May 2007. Ryan is also a graduate of Huntingdon College, Central Alabama Community College, and Childersburg High School. As a former high school and college athlete, Ryan served on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for seven years in Anniston, AL and Los Angeles, CA | | As you can see, Ryan married way out of his league when he took Jamie to be his wife in 1997. Proof-positive that God still does miracles! Ryan and Jamie have one son – Carson. He is a precious gift from the Lord. Ryan is pretty sure that Carson is already smarter than he is. The Limbaughs also have four horses, seven chickens, two cats, one dog, and a rabbit. Yes, it is kind of crazy around their house! (In case you wondering, Ryan wrote this part of his profile himself.) | | | Ryan and Jamie were members of Anniston Bible Church before they moved to California in 2003. So it thrilled them to have the opportunity to come back and unite with the people at ABC. Their goal for ministry is the same as the vision of ABC: to glorify God through praising their Father, loving their Christian family, and reaching the world for Jesus Christ. | | Ryan has a passion for expository preaching, evangelism, and discipleship. He believes that Anniston Bible Church has a great opportunity to reach their community through the bold and Biblical proclamation of God’s Word. | | When Ryan is not directly engaged in ministry he enjoys hanging out with his family, exercising, hiking, biking, camping, and reading. | | Some of Ryan’s favorite books are: Desiring God by John Piper, The Murder of Jesus by John MacArthur, Evangelism and the Sovereignty of God by J. I. Packer, Tell the Truth by Will Metzger, Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands by Paul David Tripp, Shepherding a Child’s Heart by Ted Tripp, Religious Affections by Jonathan Edwards, The Glory of Christ by John Owen, and Reformed Pastor by Richard Baxter. |
